Operations began in 2006 for the Rome, NY Distribution Center – the latest addition to the Family Dollar Distribution network. Ultimately, the DC will service stores in 10 states including New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.

From Syracuse, NY:
Take the I-90 toll road (New York State Throughway) east towards Rome. Go to exit 33 (SR-365). Take the ramp right, onto SR-365 (heading northeast, towards Rome). Keep straight onto SR-26 (also designated as SR-365/SR-49). Continue to Route 825, (Griffiss Park Exit) stay north on 825 to the traffic circle. At the traffic circle turn right on Ellsworth Rd. (Trucks will stay on Ellsworth. It will dead end into the Family Dollar Truck Entrance.)
To DC Front Entrance: Take the first stop sign and turn right on Perimeter Rd. The Distribution Center will be on the left side after 1.4 miles.
From Utica:
Follow the signs to Rome, and then take I-790 west. This will become RT 49 west. Take Exit 825 north, (Griffiss Business and Technology Park) and at the traffic circle take the first right on Ellsworth Rd. (Trucks will stay on Ellsworth. It will dead end into the Family Dollar Truck Entrance.)
To DC Front Entrance: At the stop sign turn right on Perimeter Rd. The Distribution Center will be on the left side after 1.4 miles.
